[TXHUG] Updated TXHUG Website; HAZUS Training April 25th

Welcome to new list members!

The TXHUG Website was updated yesterday. (See 
http://www.hazus.org/TXHUG/ )  If you scroll to the bottom of the page 
we have added a brief summary of current organizational efforts and 
there are links to a list of current Steering Committee members with 
contact info, and a link to the Proposed Charter document.  Our current 
plan is to have our face-to-face organizational meeting in conjunction 
with the Texas Floodplain Management Association Fall Conference in 
Austin, at which time we will move forward with the Charter, officers, etc.

In the meantime, please note that a one day HAZUS-MH Flood Model 
training session is scheduled in Austin for April 25th, in connection 
with the the TNRIS GIS Forum.  Although space is limited, there is still 
room to register.  The cost is $50, and you do not have to be registered 
for the full conference to take advantage of the workshop.  For further

There will also be two workshops at the State Hurricane Conference in 
Beaumont to demonstrate the hurricane model.  For further info on that
