[TXHUG] HAZUS MR1 Patch now available

Dear TXHUG,

 

.Below is a message from Reddy Kadasani, one of the lead developers for
HAZUS Hurricane/Wind model.

 

There were some major issues associated with "results" from running
Hurricane/Wind on XP SP2 machines. These results produced "0" values in
many/most of the categories, so it would have been very obvious if you
experienced it. Additionally, it appears, they have fixed some other things,
as well.

 

This is good news!

There is a new patch for MR1 that corrects the Windows XP SP2 problem that
some of you have encountered. Installing the patch on XP SP1 will not change
the behavior of the software. There are a few other issues that are also
addressed in this patch relating to both the Hurricane and flood model.
